ABOUT US
TWO BROTHERS WORKING TOGETHER
Welcome to our little corner of the musical universe! Imagine if life had a soundtrack, with highs, lows, twists, and turns, all set to music. Well, that's pretty much how we see the world, and we are thrilled to share our unique perspective with you.
Growing up with a mom who taught ballroom dance meant that our earliest encounters with music were intertwined with learning to dance. This experience taught us to interpret music not just with our ears, but with our bodies, transforming it into a visual expression with movement. This unique upbringing has shaped our approach to composition; having first mastered the art of converting music into visual form, we now excel at the reverse—crafting music that evokes vivid visual imagery.

COMPOSER
My journey into music starting in a home where ballroom dancing was the norm, every step had a beat. In middle school I remember being awe -struck, watching as a friend strummed away on a guitar. That was the moment, the spark. I was hooked, not just on listening but on creating, on weaving my own stories through chords and melodies.
Fast forward through my teenage years of band practices and garage jam sessions, and you'll have found me diving headfirst into the world of crafting my own music. It wasn't just about making music; it was about crafting an experience, about painting with sounds. You know how a certain tune can make a movie scene unforgettable? That's the magic I wanted to capture.
As I got older I began incorporating other instruments into my music and began crafting my journey of composing. Finding ways to better express the emotions I felt, and to create emotional stories through my music.
In my world, music is all about exploration and emotion. It's about asking, "What journey do I want to take the listener on?" and then letting curiosity lead the way. Each piece I create starts with a vibe, a feeling I want to share, and then it's a rollercoaster ride of "what ifs" and "let's try this."
This whole music thing for me is more than a profession; it's a way of making sense of the chaos of emotions that life throws our way. It's my way of connecting, of saying, "Life's a wild ride, but let's find the beauty in it together."
As for my creative process, I like to think of it as a treasure hunt. I start with an emotion or a story I want to tell, and then it's off on an adventure, piecing together melodies and harmonies that feel just right. It's about adding to the moment, not stealing the spotlight, making sure the music feels like it's always been a part of the story.
I'm all about growth, about staying curious and open to whatever comes my way. Life, much like music, isn't about reaching a destination; it's about savoring the journey, the unexpected detours, and the breathtaking views along the way.

COMPOSER
As a kid, I can remember swaying to the rhythm, learning to feel the music, every beat, every note, not just with my ears but with every step and movement. Dance wasn't just a hobby; it became my voice, and my passion, and eventually became my professional path, my way of connecting with the world. It was my first introduction into the world of music and paved the way to becoming a composer.
For me, there wasn't a lightning-strike moment screaming, "You must play music!" Instead, it was a gentle crescendo, a series of whispers from the keys of a piano that caught my attention. The more I dabbled, the more the world of melodies and harmonies unfolded, beckoning me to dive deeper, to explore the endless possibilities that lay beneath my fingertips.
As I got older, my Scottish heritage deeply influenced me, compelling me to explore Celtic music. I was particularly drawn to the bagpipes, and eventually, I learned to play. My journey with the bagpipes has taken me across the Central Valley and further, where I've had the privilege of sharing this beautiful instrument with others.
Music, for me, is about capturing the magnificence of life. It's about crafting moments that stand tall and proud, moments that echo the grandeur of life's symphony. Whether it's through the elegant whispers of a penny whistle, the bold declaration of bagpipes, or a full orchestra, I aim to transport audiences to a realm where every moment is a masterpiece.
My fascination with the power of music, especially in film, TV, and video games, nudged me towards becoming a composer. The idea that music could elevate a scene from ordinary to extraordinary was mesmerizing. It's this magic, this transformative power of music, that I sought to master, to wield in my own creations.
When it comes to composing, I like to think of myself as an explorer charting unknown territories. It all starts with a melody, a simple piano sketch that's like the first light of dawn. From there, it's an adventure into the realm of textures and sounds, each one like a different shade of color I use to paint the canvas of my compositions. Finding the right texture is like finding the perfect brushstroke that turns a melody into an emotion, a feeling into an experience.
My want is to help others feel the magnificence of life through music. That overwhelming sense of awe that washes over you in the face of something truly breathtaking.
